Dell XPS 15z now available, less than an inch thick!

Dell’s new XPS laptop is finally here, and boy oh boy it sure looks sexy.
Dell’s latest XPS, the 15z tries to mimic the success of Apple’s MacBook Pro, with anodized aluminum enclosure, which really makes the laptop very sexy, like Samsung’s 9-Series laptops. The 15-inch laptop weights at 2.51kg with only 0.97 inches thick (24.68mm) at its thickest point, making it very slim and slender.

But of course, new aesthetic is not the only thing Dell is offering this time. The laptop is quite powderful as it is equipped with the latest Sandy Bridge from Intel. The starting price is RM 3,799, and that gives you a Core i5-2410M with 2.3GHz default speed that’s capable of boosting to 2.9GHz with Turbo Boost. There’s also a very generous 4GB of DDR3 memory, with backlit keyboard, GeForce GT 525M graphics that has 1GB of dedicated memory. HDD capacity is at 500GB hard drive. The screen spans 15.6 inches diagonally and offers 1920 x 1080 resolutions with 300-nit brightness.

Thus far I still don’t see the option to customize the laptop, as there are no options to upgrade the processor, the RAM, the HDD, the graphics, and even option for SSD. Well, if that spec is sufficient for your gaming needs, just head over to the source link below and order one for yourself.
