A fully functional Super8 film projector built totally ‘almost’ entirely out of Lego

Humans are a creative bunch, and I’ve seen people creating very unique stuff out of our most beloved toy, the LEGO. Though… most of them don’t actually work. But not this one. Not this time. Friedemann Wachsmuth has created a Super8 film projector out of Lego (almost entirely), and it works!

His masterpiece projector made of Lego runs at 24 frames per second without mangling celluloid, and only those minor parts are not made of Lego. Lens, lamp, spindles, man… who can actually make those with Lego anyway?

And the point of all these? Well art and geekiness always got no reasons at all. And the best part is, the Lego Super8 film projector also produce the chucky sound of the real deal!
