Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos didn’t shoot down the rumour of the Samsung-built tablet immediately, but the founder of the renowned e-tailer only said “stay tuned”, which is such a teaser. That was his comment when interviewed by Consumer Reports.

He also mentioned that if such a device were on the way, it would be complementary to Amazon’s existing Kindle, as Bezos doesn’t want to disturb the market for that “dedicated reading device.”

On another related story, Mr Jeff Bezos also mentioned that a color version of its E Ink Kindle e-reader “is not ready for prime time”. Probably not now, but maybe next year?
