Visualized: Google searches around the globe
Google previously created an Android activations map around the globe, and now they’re going to show you the Google search volumes. By using WebGL, the peeps over at Mountain View have put together a ‘Search Globe’, with different colors indicating different languages. The statistics shown on the ‘Search Globe’ is of a single day’s worth of Google queries, in average, and is shown with beautiful, skyscraper-infused visualization. Does look very pretty and cool, but of course you’ll need a browser that can handle WebGL, say, a Google Chrome? Actually Firefox’s also fine. Hopefully you’ve got either one of the installed on your computer that is.
