Fujitsu Stylistic Q550 Windows-Based Tablet Available For Pre-Order

More tablets are coming your way, get ready to embrace the bombardment. These days it’s either a high end Honeycomb tablet or a cheapo Windows/old Android tablet. Fujitsu has joined the foray and launch a new Windows-based tablet called the ‘Stylistic Q550’. What a name, considering that this thing doesn’t look so stylish to me.
the Stylistic Q550 packs a 10.1-inch WXGA LED-backlit IPS touchscreen display (support for both finger and pen input), a 1.5GHz Intel Atom Z670 processor, an Intel GMA 600 graphics card, a 2GB DDR2 RAM, a 30GB/62GB of storage, an SD/SDHC card slot, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a fingerprint sensor, dual microphones, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port, a 2- or 4-cell battery and runs on Windows 7 Professional 32-bit OS.
Sounds like an Atom netbook turned into a tablet. Anyway, there are two variants for you to choose from: a 30GB unit with 2-cell battery that will cost you $729, or a 64GB unit with 4-cell battery that will cost you $849. Both will be shipping in June, in case you’re wandering.
