B&N Nook Color getting a Froyo update

It started off as a little simple digital reader, but now this Barnes & Noble Nook Color has been turned into a proper and full fledge tablet. B&N has just given an update to their Nook Color E-Reader and this time it’s a Froyo update. Yes, the tablet’s getting flash web browsing, downloads, Android games, even email integrations. This is a workable tablet.

Then again, this is heavily customized by B&N. This is not an all-out transformation to Froyo tablet. You still don’t get access to the market and Google Maps and even Gmail, instead all these are customized apps, and developers will need a special SDK from B&N in order to develop apps for Nook Color.
