Samsung wants to make sure that you know their new phone is super slim

Samsung wants to make sure that you know their new phone is super slim

There are still about a week or so between now and May, when Samsung will launch their next flagship Android smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S II, worldwide. But they’re not slacking in between these times, and have already spent quite some time on commercials to make sure that you know how slim their new smartphone is. But that’s not all, Samsung wants you to particularly know why slim are important, and how slim profile truly becomes practical by showing you a particular usage scenario.

But there’s one odd thing about their commercial videos on YouTube. Note the barely readable small print “Thickness of the device may differ by country or carrier.” I literally LOL on that statement. Looks like shipping one Galaxy S II to different continents with different weather and atmosphere will affect the fatness of the smartphone.

So remember, just because you and your buddy from across the world are both buying a product with an excruciatingly specific title like Samsung Galaxy S II doesn’t mean you’ll both get the same thing. All that said, the 8.49mm-thick version of the device is ready to wow you on video just past the break.

We’re very anxious to see the arrival of this new smartphone, and to measure how thick it is in our country where majority of the species here loves eating fatty food like nasi lemak.
