Samsung promises April launch for Galaxy S II at some places, no mention of delay

We’ve heard of Samsung’s plan to speed up their dual-core Exynos processor inside their brand new Galaxy S II to 1.2GHz, which also resulted in a delay for their launch date. Well, as the Tegra 2 version Galaxy S II isn’t affected, they’re using this chance to refute talks of the delays, as the company has tweeted out a two-part notice assuring us that that will not be the case and things are proceeding “as planned.”
April will see the first retail appearance of the 8.5mm-thick Android phone, though Samsung does advise that “it will be gradually rolled out in each market according to the local launch timetable.” My estimation would be that only those markets with higher priority or those designated for the Tegra 2 version will have their in April, so if you’re opting for the Exynos processor version, then it might not be a good news to you if your country has the phone as early as April, though the difference shouldn’t be that big.
