Here’s an animation of the Twitter traffic in London for 24 hours. Tweets are shown as red circles, and re-tweets as yellow points moving in the direction of information, i.e. from the original tweets towards the location of the re-tweets. Apparently, the parallel Twitter universe wakes up much later than the real world of commuters. Also, the traffic is real.
