Microsoft unveils badass 234-inch touchscreen display in Germany, makes your iPad a joke

We’ve seen 55-inch tables with touchscreen capability that seems to try and revolutionize our touchscreen experience, but what if there’s a touchscreen display that’s 234-inch big? Yes, it might not be midget-friendly, but it’s still awesome. Microsoft Germany has partnered with Stereolize and shown to the public at the annual CeBIT Germany technology fair, a 234-inch touchscreen display panel.
It’s not really a mammoth iPad, but a very large touchscreen that recognizes flicking, panning, and taping. Dubbed as the “Microsoft Cinema”, this PowerPoint presentation display is claimed to be the largest touch display in the world, although all you can do with it is a presentation. Animation is smooth, which is obviously controlled by a very powerful computer, but the response is not actually instant, probably due to the size of the thing.
Check out this large-scale presentation by Microsoft in the video below. Iron Man technology coming very soon!
