HTC Thunderbolt officially available

The first 4G LTE handset from Verizon is now officially available, and it’s from HTC. The Thunderbolt is a 4G LTE Android smartphone and is exclusively for Verizon and is a CDMA smartphone with support for EvDO revision A.

The 4.3-inch phone runs on Google’s Android 2.2 Froyo operating system together with HTC Sense 2.0 UI. The 8-Megapixel camera is capable of HD video recording, and its 768MB of RAM will be able to load all your application smoothly together with the 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 chip. The phone is also capable of those crazy 4G download speeds.

The HTC Thunderbolt 4G Android smartphone is now available from Verizon for $250 on a two-year contract, or you could have it at Amazon for only $180 with the same contract.
