Audi treats aluminium like Play-Doh in new A6 ad

The new Audi A6 that was revealed at Detroit earlier this year was beautiful, but Audi makes it even more special by calling its body “hybrid aluminium chassis”. Not sure what that means, but according to the German company, it’s a new unibody structure that helps increase the interior room without suffering a weight or rigidity penalty, thus you get better fuel economy yet optimum performance and safety. But explaining that to common Joe and Jack and Beng is quite literally impossible, so Audi let their marketing team do the magic trick.
The ad turns slabs of aluminium into an easily malleable material able to be stretched and formed into any shape, allowing the audience to draw easy parallels between the sculpting on screen and the work of the automaker’s engineers. Also makes it sound very fun to develop a car, as I’m sure the kids will love it.
