Firefox 4 shall go live on March 22

Mozilla’s Firefox 4 has been under beta for quite some time now, and it seemed that they’re now confident about their Firefox 4 RC and has been given a march 22 release date as target.
Thus far the RC is being under QA and only one major bug from Java has been found, and Mozilla consider it not a blocking bug, so it should be a small matter or will be easily resolved. Of course, if a major bug is found in between now and the launch date, then a new RC will be released, and the release date will be delayed.
Microsoft has officially released their Internet Explorer 9 yesterday, and Mozilla’s Firefox 4 is behind schedule by about five months according to the development cycle. What’s more Firefox 5 is expected to be rolled about before end of June, so the Firefox team is indeed under heavy pressure at the moment.
