Apple’s iPad 2 sold out, online shipment 4-5 weeks

Days after Apple’s iPad 2 was launched, hundreds of people are still queuing up to buy Apple’s latest dual-core tablet. Apple is still using tickets to handle its lines outside its stores, and about 400 people are seen queuing up outside San Francisco Apple Store.
“In New York City, three of the four stores already sold out of the iPad 2 in the first couple of hours this morning, and tickets were handed out at the flagship store to help people avoid waiting in line unnecessarily. In San Francisco, only one of the three stores received iPad 2 shipments this morning.” – said an employee of Apple
Online shipment of the iPad 2 is now delayed to 4-5 weeks up from 3-4 weeks yesterday. Apple is currently struggling to keep up with demand, and people doubt Apple will have enough stock for its 25 March release date for the international market in 26 countries.
