Yes boys and girls. We haven’t given up on the white iPhone 4 that Apple promised, despite knowing that the iPhone 5 is very near the horizon. The iPad 2 has a white variant on launch day, but why aren’t the white iPhone 4 in shelves now?

After hearing from Apple that it was being delayed twice in 2010, we never heard from Apple about it anymore, despite all the rumours that resurfaced in January. However, this time the news is starting to come from Apple directly. Well, at least Apple’s personnel. In response to a question on how to obtain a white iPhone, Philip Schiller fired back: “The white iPhone will be available this spring (and it is a beauty!).”

That’s as crystal clear as it gets, there’s a white iPhone coming this spring. But which? The old iPhone 4, or the next and new iPhone? I can’t wait? No more iPhone 4 with China-made white case for me.
