Logitech intros $350 Surround Sound Speakers Z906

The almighty Logitech Z5500 5.1 speaker has been on shelves for quite half a dozen years, and now Logitech finally gave it a good pat on the hat. Here’s the new kid in town, and it’s the successor of the Z5500. This Z906 5.1 speaker will cost you $349.99, so you’ll notice instantly the resemblance of both.

This THX-Certified 5.1 system delivers 500 watts (RMS) of theatre-quality sound. Digital and analog inputs, an easy-to-read-and-stack control console and a wireless remote let you take charge of your entertainment. All two-channel stereo will be converted into an immersive surround sound experience, so yes you’ll be getting the 3D experience.
The total power of the speaker is 500-watts (RMS), who you can quite literally bomb your neighbours by watching Pearl Harbour during the nights. The subwoofer is ported and has side-firing, so the 165 watts subwoofer should blast everything you throw at it easily, bringing every single movie and game into your life.

There’s also the support for Dolby Digital and DTS encoded soundtracks, so you won’t miss any slight details at all. Every single bullet, every single scratch, every single moan will be as clear as reality. It’s even THX Certified, like its predecessor so you can expect some very raw performance due to the strict performance requirements.

Also, this new Z906 will be making itself home in quite literally any environment, your PC, your living room, or your console gaming corner, even your rave party at the beachside. All these are made possible because the Z906 comes with Digital and Analog inputs, and you can even connect up to six audio sources.

There’s the all new easy-to-read control console, something like the command centre of your warship. The stackable design will fit in your home-entertainment system snuggly. There’s also the wireless remote if you’re a couch potato. Even the satellites are wall-mountable so that you won’t have any problem with decorations and setups.
