BMW’s i3 and i8 prototypes caught chilling in the winter cold

BMW launched its new sub brand that’s called “I” few weeks ago, which will be the new stable of BMW for electric cars, and they also pledged two new electrifying cars coming either this year or next. But shortly after the announcement and the preview of BMW Vision ConnectedDrive Concept at Geneva Motor Show 2011, now the two new electric cars of BMW, the i3 and i8 has been spotted in the wild with the usual mule swirly vinyl splattered all over them. Both the i3 hatch (below) and i8 sportscar (above) were obviously doing some winter testing, and we’d say that the smile on the face of the passenger in the i8 is a good sign that the four-seater with 62MPG rating and a 0 – 62 time of 4.8 seconds will be fun to drive, though it still look abit awkward, and the i3 does look abit bulky and ugly.
