Samsung Galaxy Pro, QWERTY meets Touchscreen

This is the result when you want to have touchscreen, and yet you still miss your Nokia E71’s portrait QWERTY keyboard or your BB. A very blend product that tries to give you some touchscreen fun and yet keeps you at professional level with the keyboard, this is Samsung’s Galaxy Pro.

The Galaxy Pro has a 2.8-inch touchscreen panel, and a portrait QWERTY keyboard, just like a young teenager that cannot make up his mind. Samsung actually squeezes a four-row button array beneath a set of Android keys and a 2.8-inch glass, so it’s rather cramp down there. Horsepower wise, it’s quite modest yet not a true quarter-mile runner. You get an 800MHz processor with a 3-Megapixel cam that has autofocus skill. Tagging along as the butler is Google’s Froyo OS, Android 2.2.
