The much awaited Samsung 950 Series 3D LED display is now officially available in the South Korean market. Previously previewed at CES 2011, the 3D display will now come in two different versions: the asymmetric 9 Series (27TA950) and 7 Series (27TA750). These new displays come in 27-inch, and they are fully 3D capable and adopts Samsung Ultra Clear Panel technology. Spec wise, it has 1000:1 contrast ratio, which should be typical ratio, and a very fast 2ms response time. It has 1080P resolution, which is fully 3D capable. 2D contents can be converted to 3D on-the-fly. How awesome is that?

It also has Samsung TV Apps and Smart Hub, as well as Connect Share, which allows you to access media directly via a USB port. The Samsung 27TA950 and 27TA750 are priced at 890,000 KRW (nearly $800) whereas the 27TA750 is an 840,000 KRW outlay (just over $750). As usual, the ladies are not included.

I was a little concerned that I would damage my eyes from all the stress that 3D puts on your eyes, but I was pleasantly proven wrong. I recently picked up this TV and I can watch 3D all of the time! I am a DISH Network subscriber/employee, and along side of their 200 HD channels, I get a whole channel devoted to 3D! I have been watching 3D almost every night with virtually no stress!
