New SteelSeries gaming headsets now iPhone compatible

Steelseries is taking advantage of CeBIT 2011 to announce three new products, and they’re all headsets for gamers. First of is the new Siberia v2 for PS3. It’s compatible with the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Mac, featuring 50mm driver units, leather earcups, and a retractable microphone, which I think is awesome for clumsy people like me. Saves space, more durable, and looks cool too.

Well, the next two is somewhat more Apple-oriented. Like many audio headsets manufacturers, Steelseries is also gearing up to make their products compatible with Apple’s products. The company’s Siberia v2 and SteelSeries 7H headsets are now available in Apple-approved flavors with a single 3.5mm jack for audio and voice, an inline remote, and compatibility with your iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad. Look for the Siberia v2 for PS3 in Q3 2011 for $120 MSRP. Look for SteelSeries 7H and Siberia v2 for iPod, iPhone and iPad soon for $130 and $100 respectively.
