Ford SYNC goes global in 19 languages

Voice recognition has always been a problem for many folks. Say what you may, but they’re not a very intelligent system and there’s just no effective method to fix it because there’s too many languages on Earth. Even a simple word like ‘Asus’ has dozens of pronunciations. But it seemed that the American blue oval automotive company is determined not to be shaken by such small issue. They’ve now prepared their SYNC program, which is an infotainment system in Ford vehicles with voice recognition features, to understand an additional 16 languages besides American English. It seemed the total of language that the program now understands are at 19. Emergency assistance has also been expanded to cover other languages.
