Intel Oak Trail Atom Z670 tablets to arrive at the end of March

We’ve heard a lot about Intel’s next Atom processor, which is the Oak Trail chip. News has been cooking very hot about how great this new Atom processor is, and how powerful tablets and netbooks featuring it will be, but we’ve yet to see any products featuring it that’s hitting the market. However, now we finally get some clearer launch date.
Apparently Intel has been hard at work in the labs to improve the battery life and performance of its Oak Trail silicon, and now they finally promise some slates with the new 1.5Ghz Atom Z670 chip inside. It’s said that the Fujitsu Stylistic Q550 will launch on March 30, 2011, and it has the Oak Trail Atom processor at heart. That seems to line up with what we’ve heard on timing, since both the Oak Trail-powered Samsung Sliding PC 7 and MSI WindPad 100W were announced with March availability. Let’s see how they fared compared to the many dual-core ARM processors in the market.
