Apple’s keyboard has been a great one to use with, though I much prefer the older one which comes with the numerical pad. Never mind that grudge, as we’ve been given the Magic Trackpad instead. However, you can’t really just use duct tape and have the keyboard and Trackpad fused together so that you can have both together while typing on your lap. Feels so awful, we know.

Now the good people at Twelve South have come up with a way to keep them together: the MagicWand. The product is a simple one: a long tube accommodates the round lip shared by both the keyboard and trackpad, and a few other bars lock things into place. Presto chango: two peripherals are now one. $30 and you can have both the Magic Trackpad and the wonderful keyboard together.
