Samsung Galaxy S successor coming this MWC 2011?

Thus far it’s still one of the best Android devices there is available in the market, and we simply can’t deny the 10 million sales numbers of the Samsung Galaxy S smartphones worldwide. Some even went as far as claiming it to be capable of rivalling the Apple iPhone 4’s screen, though I must admit the AMOLED screen is indeed very brilliant looking. But this story will come to an end very soon, as Samsung is preparing another successful story for its Galaxy smartphones with the revealing of its successor at the Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona.

So far, Samsung have keep a tight lid on the new device but we were made to understand that the device will probably run on a dual-core processor and will be also be graced with a Super AMOLED Plus display. Not to forget, it will also be slightly thinner than the original Galaxy S, judging from the teaser video that went online last week. Yes, at the 13-second of the video, you’ll be able to see the camera in the reflection, though I still think that doesn’t say much about the phone other than being very slim and sexy, with a butt.

Meanwhile, the successor to Galaxy S will not be the only new thing that Samsung is going to show off at Barcelona. Joining the spotlight will be four new Galaxy phones that the company have just confirmed two weeks ago; namely the Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Fit, Galaxy Gio and Galaxy Mini. Looks like Samsung are really riding on the Android bandwagon and are going to make full use of it at MWC 2011. If you’re looking for a new phone, then you shouldn’t miss out MWC 2011 at Barcelona.
