Here’s yet another watch that’s hard to read, but then again it’s a very environmentally friendly watch, so probably the bunch of environmentalist are celebrating and rallying for the production of this watch. Oliver Demangel from France has designed the Solaris solar-powered concept watch.

I won’t say that it’s easy to read, as there’s no numbers. But the reading pattern is very similar to normal watch, just that the numbers and needles are replaced by some LEDs. The time is shown by LEDs, with the hours on the perimeter of the design in blue, five minute groups in the same locations in purple. Four single minutes are shown on the cross bars in the centre.

The Solaris solar-powered concept watch is ideal for those who want to buy the latest techno and stylized products, and wants to claim to be an environmentalist and is very holy.
