Google brings Cloud Print service to mobile Google Docs

These days, smartphones have given us true mobility as in information on the go. We get to connect to the net, check mails, run some funky apps (useful or not), and now even print some documents thanks to Google Cloud Print. All you need to do is to connect a printer to the cloud. Yes, the cloud in the sky, so you might need a USB cable few kilometres in length.
Anyway, it doesn’t matter where you travel to or if you’re at the other end of the world, with the new Google Cloud Print for mobile which will be slowly finding its way for English speaking users, all you have to do is select the print option in the dropdown menu and print directly from there. As long as you have a printer connected to the Internet, you’re done. Better than WiFi printing eh?
According to Google Mobile’s blog, the feature will be rolling out for English speaking users in the US but fortunately, I see it on my iPhone too. It’ll work on most phones that support HTML5 such as devices running on Google Android 2.1 and above, and Apple iOS 3 and above. To get started, you’ll first need to connect your printer to cloud print. Sounds too good to be true? Well, sometimes some things just works that way, this feature will only be available for Windows PC now but fret not, the team at Google are already working on Linux and Mac support.
