That’s the killer question, and it’s now answered, partly. Microsoft online store has begun taking pre-orders for ASUS’ upcoming Windows-based tablet ‘Eee Slate EP121‘. The device is sold for $1,099 and will begin shipping on January 24th. To refresh your memory, the Eee Slate EP121 packs a 12.1-inch capacitive multitouch display, a 1.33GHz Intel Core i5-U470 processor, a 4GB RAM, a 32GB or 64GB of storage, a card reader, a 2.0-megapixel webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth, a mini-HDMI port and is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
