Samsun Galaxy Tab gets a desperate speed bump and LTE integration

Over at CES, Honeycomb seemed to be the main show for Android, especially those tablets with dual-core processors, but Samsung is still not shy away to show off its Froyo-based Galaxy Tab that everybody knows about. But what’s so special in showing something that everyone isn’t bothered to know this time around? Well, for starter, this ‘updated’ Galaxy Tab gets a little speed bump with the Hummingbird going up to 1.2GHz, and getting the rear camera improved from 3-Megapixel to 5-Megapixel, probably due to Russia’s president mocking it. But what’s important here is that Samsung has stuffed in an LTE modem into the Tab, while still maintaining backward compatibility with existing 3G networks. Now that’s a very desperate upgrade for a product that’s out two months ago.
