Silicon Power’s new USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drives
![]()
Silicon Power is bringing you a new line of USB 3.0 portable hard drives called the Stream S10. They come in four different capacities, 320GB, 500GB, 640GB and 750GB. But what’s more eye-catching is the sleek and curvaceous design that the company stated is inspired by Italian sports cars. Indeed, these portable bricks are only short of four spinning wheels and some doors. The hard drives are running on USB 3.0 interface that are of course backward compatible with USB 2.0, and are bundled with a 60 day trial version of Norton Antivirus. This should be interesting, as I would like to see how this trial software handles the widespread viruses in portable storages. Pricing and release date are still unknown at the moment.
