It seemed that we’re right after all. Intel’s next generation Core processors aka Sandy Bridge is supposed to be revealed at Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2011 in Las Vegas, but surprisingly it seems that some of our local retailers already have them on sale. Just two weeks before 2010 goes for a closure, and Sandy Bridge is already popping out at Low Yat Plaza and Digital Mall PJ. CES 2010? Meh…

Compuzone’s latest pricelist (apparently already removed currently after the news spread like wildfire) listed quite a number of new processors with 4-digit model numbers instead of the usual 3-digit. The PDF file also includes plenty of motherboards from ASUS and Gigabyte for the new processors which are using the all-new Socket 1155. It seemed that they’re already available since last week, according to some friends.

The pricelist PDF has since been removed, but few friends have also confirmed that the procs are indeed already available for purchase. Early Christmas present? Compuzone is also not the only one listing new Sandy Bridge products. StarTec and Viewnet have also listed Socket 1155 motherboards, but not processors.
