John Marston didn’t get it, but RDR is the game of the year

Every big shot was there: Sony, Ubisoft, Activision, and Blizzard. There’s more, but there’re just not enough bytes to put them all here. SGT. Woods is the man of the year for VGA 2010, beating Ezio from Italy and his bird face friend, also the famous John Marston of the cowboy hero from San Diego, and not forgetting Kratos the guy with a scar. Looks like that scar of Kratos didn’t boost his chance of winning, too bad Sony.

Spike’s Video Game Award 2010 is over, and the list is out. Check out the full list at the source below. Luckily Sarah Kerrigan managed to get two titles out of the three nominated categories. They didn’t quite make it into nominee for Game of the Year, which I think they should, considering how long the buzz is before the game finally gets out.

But nevertheless, Blizzard’s Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty managed to get hold of the “Best PC Game”, defeating titles like Mass Effect 2, Civilization V, and Fallout: New Vegas. That should count as something. There’s also the “Best Performance by a Human Female”, all thanks to the very sexy Tricia Helfer.

Unfortunately, Wings of Liberty suffered a defeat in the third category in which it was nominated – “Best Multiplayer Game”, the winner being Halo: Reach. Yes, I still couldn’t brain that.

But great news is that Call of Duty: Black Ops is the “Best Shooter” around. Considering they smashed some records for their sale’s section, there shouldn’t be too much of a surprise there. Their main character also didn’t fared badly, SGT. Woods scoring himself “Character of the Year”. That’s the best misfire guy that we know around. Check out the full list at the source.
