Gingerbread ported to Galaxy S, not fully awaken, yet.

It seemed that Nexus S’s specialty of being the only phone with Gingerbread at the moment has already been taken off. Supercurio of xda-developers forum has ported the Nexus S’s Android 2.3 over to its older brother, the Samsung Galaxy S, and the port is described as being unmodified from the Nexus S. Then again, things obviously won’t go perfectly as fit, as always. A few basic functions are missing as of current, like voice, WiFi, and GPS. There’s one important thing to note though, supercurio stated that the new update is “super smooth”. Gives you all the need to push your luck to Gingerbread doesn’t it.
