BioWare and Spike just unveiled the first full look at Mass Effect 3 and holy hell does it look amazing. This time however, Earth is burning and terrifying machines are destroying the human race, probably one lone soldier, wounded and with limited bullets, will save Earth (no I’m just joking).

It seemed that next year’s game will be very graphically challenging, if Mass Effect 3 is that awesome in-game, like this animated trailer. We’ll be seeing The Elder Scroll: Oblivion Skyrim, Mass Effect 3, and hopefully Crysis 2. A very exciting gaming year ahead of us, but you might want to wait until Nvidia released GTX 680 next year and Tri-SLI it if you want to play them with uber graphics smoothly.

Mass Effect 3 will be out by holiday 2011, according to this first-look tease of the shooter RPG. BioWare also mentioned that Mass Effect 3 will come to the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 “simultaneously” in 2011, putting an end to the series’ former console exclusivity once and for all. That’s right, for the PS3 community, you’ll be getting Mass Effect 2 in January, and Mass Effect 3 in the holiday season!
