RunCore 1TB SATA III SSD

We’ve seen a huge amount of SSD flocking into the market, but all of them are 2.5-inch drives that’ll happily fit in your laptop. But now we have a new SSD powerhouse from RunCore that is rather more enthusiast than your usual vanillas. It takes up a desktop standard 3.5-inch slot and is said to rely on “substantial” sized PCBs on both sides of its cool, cerulean silicon. It’s a SATA III drive offering a similarly substantial 1TB of storage, even fronting dual SandForce SF-1222 controllers for integrated RAID 0 performances. However, having the speed of 500MB/s, this guy is a real big bully compared to the usual 2.5 kids. Then again, the price would probably scare of the flocks of nerds staring at it once it’s fully announced at CeBIT in March next year.
