Nvidia GTX 570 spec leaked, coming next week?

Nvidia seemed so eager to have a fight with AMD after seeing how strong their Fermi is fighting with AMD’s Radeon. Not sure if this is an unintended leak, or a publicity stunt, but a Swedish overclocking site has some leaked info about the upcoming GeForce GTX 570.
The GTX 570 will also be based on the GF110 that the GTX 580 is based on. However, the GTX 570 will look more like a GTX 480. It has a TDP of 225W with 480 CUDA horses, making it similar to the GTX 480. It’s also based on the same 40nm build process. What’s slightly different is that the GTX 570 has slightly higher CUDA clock speeds reaching 480 while GPU frequency is also higher, at 732MHz. Not sure if that’s the reason Nvidia managed to lower the power consumption, as the GTX 570 only need 6+6 PCI-E pins to power up this card.
However, memory speed falls behind the GTX 480, as it uses a 320-bit memory bus 1280MB memory running at 3.8GHZ GDDR5, unlike the GTX 580 and GTX 480 which uses the 384-bit memory bus. If you look at the list, the only other card using 320-bit memory bus is the GTX 460 which is based on the GF104. This is probably an ‘eco’ move, as the 768MB GDDR5 of the GTX 460 is cheaper than the 1GB GDDR5 of the GTX 460, but hence also the performance drop.
One thing to note is that the site also stated that the card will be launched next Tuesday, which is ‘coincidently’ the same day Blizzard will release the cataclysm expansion to their successful World of Warcraft. It’s probably a planned strategy to lure MMORPG gamers who plans to upgrade their rigs. I’d say it’s more like Nvidia is taking advantage of AMD’s delay for their Cayman cards.
