Rumormill: Next Samsung Galaxy Tab to have a dual-core powerplant

Samsung might be making waves around the world with its latest Galaxy Tab, pitting it next to Apple’s famous tablet the iPad. However, rumour has it that Samsung is not resting and partying for the success that they have with the Tab. An unaccredited source told Digitmes about the Orion, which is probably the codename for the successor of the Galaxy Tab.
The Orion is rumoured to run on a dual-core Cortex A9 chip with 1GHz speed, as well as a quad-core Mali 400 GPU tagging along behind it. Thanks to that Mali 400, this Orion is able to encode and decode 1080p video, as well as outputting to HDMI. The organs of this monster actually made a debut at the Taiwanese ARM Technical Symposium last week, but Samsung did not comment what size the next-gen tablet will be.
