Water cooling has been a room filled with mist, as not many really dares to wander into this territory, except for those true hearted enthusiasts as it’s really a bothersome to setup a custom water cooling system. There are too many things to worry about, especially for first timers. But right now, you can purchase a water cooling rig straight off without assembling it yourself, all thanks to Digital Storm.

Digital Storm has unveiled their latest line of custom gaming PCs, which employs the Sub-Zero Liquid Chilled System, allowing for Intel Core i7 processors to be overclocked at a blazing 4.6 GHz while remaining at a chillingly icy 0ºC. The casing seemed to be a customized Corsair 700D, with 3 radiators in the system. That’s how they cool the overclocked Core i7 processor with tri-SLI setup.

“The R&D conducted on this liquid chilled system has been the most labor intensive, but rewarding initiatives ever attempted by our engineers,” commented Rajeev Kuruppu, Digital Storm’s Director of Product Development. “With constant innovation happening in the hardware space, the demands on our engineers to design systems that optimize these components are unyielding. The Hailstorm gaming computer with the new Sub-Zero Liquid Chilled System fully maximizes the potential for each component like no other system we’ve ever built.”

Digital Storm is offering four different Zero Liquid Chilled System configurations, featuring either Intel Core i7 950 or Intel Core i7 980x CPUs, accompanied by 6GB of DDR3 memory running at 1600Mhz and X58 Chipsets. In terms of graphics, the “entry-level” model is powered by an NVIDIA GTX 460 1GB graphics card, while the top-range model features an awesome 3 x SLI configuration built with the latest-gen NVIDIA GTX 580 graphics cards.

One funny thing is, Digital Storm mentioned in their press release that the system could be overclocked beyond 4.6GHz, but they won’t cover it under the warranty if anything goes wrong. TEC peltier coolers are at the heart of this cooling system, which will be featured in Digital Storm’s Hailstorm line of PCs. And if you want your own Sub-Zero cooled machine with the Core i7-980x model, it’ll cost you around $6900, while lower end models are available for as low as $3800.
