Adobe to fix Flash battery life issue?

Last Tuesday during the Web 2.0 summit, Adobe’s CEO ShantanuNarayen announced that the company is working on optimizing the Flash for Macbook Air, which would probably lead to a release of an “optimized” version of Flash.

In addition to the comments on HTML5 vs Flash, Adobe CEO still manages to give Apple an open slap by blaming the entire battery life issue on Apple itself, stating that it is their fault for not sending Adobe a Macbook Air prior to its release. Funny why Apple must send Adobe a prototype of their own notebook, does this mean that Apple should send Adobe a version of all their products for testing?

Despite blatantly denying the fact that there is a problem with Flash affecting the battery life of the new MacBook Air; Narayen stated there is currently a MacBook Air in their labs running a beta version of an “optimized” flash, designed specifically for the MacBook. Flash going to the gym? Mr Narayen didn’t specify when the “optimized” flash will be released, but the batteries of Macbook Air worldwide are hoping it’s soon. They’re screaming “save our soul!”
