Jaeger-LeCoultre unlocks the Aston Martin DB9 with new AMVOX2 Transponder

Last time, you’ll need to put your car keys into the door’s lock in order to open your car doors. Then, men got lazy, and invented remote alarm to unlock your car with a single button. They say it’s for safety. Well, should be. But then men got even lazier, and don’t want to press that GREEN button. So, they made keyless entry. Walk near your car, and it’s unlocked. Leave your car, and it’s locked. They say it’s good, because you don’t have to worry whether you’ve locked your car or not. Safety reasons too. But now, they’re getting even way crazier. But this time, it’s for the fashion sense. You know, doing it the James Bond way. But you can only do it if you own an Aston Martin DB9, and have some extra cash lying around too. Make that $25k extra to spare.
Following the transponder wristwatches unveiled for the DBS and Rapide, Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre has now announced the AMVOX2 DB9 Transponder. It features a touch-sensitive sapphire crystal face: touch the glass where it says “open” and it unlocks the doors. Press where it says “close” and it locks ‘em. Press both at the same time and the doors stay locked, but it will help you find your car by turning on the headlamps. Nice trick, all enabled by a micro-transmitter built in to the titanium timepiece. Cool right? Now you have yet another reason to buy an Aston.
