Samsung adds prescription lens option to its active shutter 3D glasses

Do you wear glasses? I do. I’d just be frank that I hate being short sighted. The bad things about wearing a glass is that you’d need to take them off when you eat your instant noodles, when you go swimming, and get pretty stupid when you go for a 3D movie. Yes, I wear both my glasses and the 3D glasses provided by the cinema, which is pretty stupid.
And it seemed that there are people facing similar problems in Samsung. That’s probably the reason why they launched this package. They’re now adding prescription lens option to their active shutter 3D glasses. Hooray!

The SSG-R2200 models appear to be very similar to the company’s other active shutter 3D glasses in various shapes and sizes, but they’re made to order from an optometrist. Some companies have been doing this for some time now, but it wasn’t fully launched in a big way. I’m hoping to see this coming to a Samsung store nearly me, but that would also depends on the pricetag. That would be the main factor of whether to venture into 3D world, or just to stick with conventional 2D arts. Just don’t slap a ‘design glass’ tag onto the glass and sell it sky high ok Samsung?
