EA buys Angry Birds publisher

Greedy fatty EA seemed to be gobbling up yet another game publishing company and spitting up sequel-based and franchise release titles to milk up gamers’ money. They’ve also been rather aggressive in releasing games for the iPhone and iPad. Now, the LA Times reported that they’ve also buying up the publisher of Angry Birds, Chillingo Publisher for $20 million.
Chillingo still retains the rights to the games that they publish, like Angry Birds and Cut the Rope, but we can safely assume that the next Angry Birds 2 will most probably have the ‘EA Games tag’ during loading. From the Command & Conquer series, to the Need for Speed series, and now you’re taking my bird too?
