What a full frame DSLR can do. Amazing stuff.

That’s not colourful plasticine. That’s paint, a drop of paint to be precise. Taken using a EOS 5D MarkII. That’s only achievable on 5,000 frames per second.

The ‘colour sculptures’ were created by stretching a balloon over a speaker to form a membrane. A few drops of paint were then placed in the centre of the balloon and a single sharp note was played through the speaker, causing the paint to erupt for just a fraction of a second.

Creative studio Dentsu London worked with photographer Linden Gledhill to create an amazing series of colourful sounds sculptures made using paint droplets as part of a promo for Canon Pixma Range printers, “Bringing Color to Life”.
