Toshiba launches 24nm process NAND flash memory in mass production

Toshiba seemed to be on the lead in the development of NAND flash as of late. Nice engineering team they have there. Toshiba has finalized their 24nm NAND flash memory chips, and is moving them into the factories to churn out some delicious chips. These chips also support the standardized “Toggle DDR 2.0” 400Mbps transfer rate.

What all these mean is that we will see a shrink in chip size, allowing Toshiba to boost productivity and bring further enhancements to high density, small sized products. Less heat, and better energy efficiency, with faster transfer rates will result in better quality devices. As more mobile equipment, such as smartphones, digital video cameras and tablet PCs, provide support for recording high resolution pictures and video and editing and processing large volumes of data, demand is growing for smaller, higher density, memory products.

Supposed next-gen iPod touch, nano / shuffle cases surface online

What claimed to be cases for the next generation iPod touch, nano/shuffle has somehow harden the proof that has already been repeatedly shown to the world.

Chinese case retailer X-Doria has the latest case, and they seemed to have hole for an iPod touch with a camera, and another smaller version which is as a case for a “nano 6G”, but could seemingly also be for a new iPod shuffle with a touchscreen. My bed is more on an iPod Nano with tiny touchscreen. Of particular note, the apparent iPod touch case seems to reveal a curved back more similar to the current model than the iPhone 4, while the nano / shuffle case looks to be a near perfect match for that 1.7-inch Apple touchscreen that mysteriously turned up in Taiwan last month. Well, the mystery will be unveiled in these few days.

After sneakily making an awkward early appearance on Nokia’s Dutch online storefront, Mobile Geek Inc has since dug even more info out in regards to it. No QWERTY, which in turns is a full fledge touchscreen like the Nokia 5800, instead of the C6-oo slider that it’ll replace. There’s 8-Megapixel camera with dual Xenon flash, and the new Symbian^3 OS. Perhaps we will see it’s unveiling in Nokia World 2010 which will arrive on the 14th September in London.

Emails are so massively used for so many occasions, and while some people might receive one or more forward emails or emails from old friends (like my mum), but youngsters like us always have our emails bombarded with tons of important mails, and zillions of craps.
