Sony's PlayStation division looking for engineers with Android dev experience

Previously we’ve said that Sony might be developing an Android 3.0-based gaming phone under the PlayStation brand, and now a new job posting seems to indicate that Sony really is getting some Android action. Well a progress is always a progress. The PlayStation division is looking for a senior server engineer in London with “experience in mobile development, specifically Android.” The rest of the listing sounds like this person will be involved in running an online game service, which certainly makes sense.
Though it did come across my mind that this might not necessary be an Android-based PSP Phone as Sony may infuse Android 3.0 into their PlayStation console or inject PlayStation hub into their existing Android phones. Or perhaps Sony is trying to develop an online game portal to counter the Xbox Live on Windows Phone 7, and Apple’s Game Center with PSN on their own devices.
