The High Definition watch doesn’t tell time straight away.

Tokyoflash, the famous name that made amazing watches besides some ridiculously boring ones too. Now they’ve gone and design yet another futuristic watch that looks like it’s from a Star Trek filming set. It’s called the High Definition.

The watch features an always on multi-colour LCD interface that displays the current time. Hours are shown in square blocks and five minute groups are shown as lines outside the square blocks, in the same position as hours and minutes as a clock face. Meanwhile, single minutes 1-4 and seconds are shown in the central zone. I don’t really comprehend the use of LCD over here, as the battery life would somehow be terrible for the ‘always-on’ LCD panel, thought they fail to mention how long it would last actually. Yet another watch that requires me to stare at it for few seconds before knowing the time.
