Samsung’s new ‘hybrid’ TV is for your everything!

Samsung’s new ‘hybrid’ TV is for your everything!

The new Samsung FX2490HD is a 24” LED Backlight Monitor, not your real LED panel monitor. But still it is fully packed to give a good fight for those budget crowds. Integrated TV Tuner, PIP, USB File Viewer (Photo, Music, Video), 7.1 channel Dolby Digital and DTS. You name it, they got it. With a mere 24-inch display, Samsung seemed to target this for console players and computer users. Seriously, this is very ideal for people looking for cheaper alternative to play with their PlayStation 3, and yet still able to plug into their computer.

Official Press Release:

Samsung Unveils the Syncmaster 90 Series, Another Stand-out from the Pack

Samsung unveils the Syncmaster 90 series, a premium LED monitor with a built-in TV tuner, reinforcing its presence as the unrivalled leader in the global premium monitor market.

The Syncmaster 90 series, the ultimate marriage between high artistic design and cutting-edge technology, provides consumers with more leeway for the choice among ever-expanding Samsung’s premium LED monitor line-ups. The previous 70 series, stand-out for its eco-friendly design and its proprietary ToC(Touch of Color) technology, proved a big hit in the market.

Unique to the 90 series (model name: FX2490HD) is its “Quad” stand design, along with a much larger screen (24-inch), realizing Samsung’s design philosophy once again that its products should resemble pieces of art — “interior objects” so to speak — and maximizing its purpose as both a monitor and a TV at the same time.
