Corsair Hydro H70 coming soon?

The Corsair’s simple entry-level water cooling solution H50 has been around for quite some time now, and Corsair’s preparing for a new replacement that will be expected to arrive this August.
From the picture above the H70 doesn’t differ much from its older brother, besides some slight difference in dimensions. The CPU plate seemed to be thinner now, while the radiator is slightly thicker. However, Corsair is said to have greatly increased its FPI (fins per inch) for the radiator, which will obviously result in better cooling capacity.
But with thicker radiator, it will be hard to mount the radiator on the rear fan hole, as the radiator might cover the PWM area and trap hot airs. Might be wise to get a case with slot for radiator at the top or perhaps you can modify the tubes to be longer, and place the radiator at the outer side of the rear fan hole.
Here are some of the new features listed:
- A new improved cold-plate design more efficiently transfers heat.
- A thicker radiator increases the cooling surface area for even better cooling potential.
- Dual 120mm fans with multiple speed options that let you optimize the maximum cooling and minimum noise.
- Includes mounting hardware compatible with all modern CPU socket designs
- Radiator Dimensions: 120mm x 50mm
- Fan Dimensions: 120mm x 25mm
- Fan Speed: Selectable 1600 or 2000 RPM
- Air Flow: 50.35 – 61.2 CFM (per fan)
- Static Pressure: 1.8 – 2.3mm H20 (per fan)
- Noise Level: 26 – 31.5 dBA (per fan)
The Corsair H70 is rumoured to come with a $129.99 price tag.
