Apple’s product update frenzy doesn’t just stop on their computers. There’s a new unique product coming from Apple, and it’s very Apple-ish of kush. It’s Apple’s Magic Trackpad, and as the name says, it’s something similar to your notebook’s touchpad, but independent of itself, and supports Apple’s multitouch function, as expected. It’s wireless through Bluetooth and works on any Bluetooth-enabled Mac computer, and is glass-covered, with aluminium-shelled body.

Apple literally lifted the multitouch experience on Apple’s MacBooks onto the Mac desktop. The trackpad is battery-powered using 2 x AA batteries, and is ready to ship out any time now at a fair price of $69. Sadly there’s a punch somewhere. This trackpad only works on Mac OS x v10.6.4, so I’m sorry to those old Mac computer owners. Just how ‘amazing’ this experience is, is still very doubtful from me, as I can’t imagine fooling around the 27-inch iMac with this thing instead of a typical mouse.
