Windows Phone 7 just around the corner

Windows Phone 7 will be hitting retail is just about few months’ time now. Engadget had a phone with Windows Phone 7 OS build-in, courtesy of Samsung, and had a review of it. So far the review has been a mixture of greatness and few let downs. For instance, there’s no copy’n’paste clipboard, and there’s no multitasking for 3rd party developed applications.
But other than that, the phone’s been very snippy and super-fast in response. The design and layout is also very refreshing, very much drifted away from the typical icon styles of Apple’s iOS and Google’s Andoird. More like Microsoft’s Windows Start Menu style cascaded in 2D but with great 3D effects at times. Watch the video below to have a good idea of how it turns out.
