When Fermi was released, many said that you can ‘fry’ an egg with it (but it can’t, sad), but now, Asus is thinking of a method to ‘fry’ an egg using the GTX480. Well, when one GTX480 can’t fry them, how about two?

Yes, Asus has gone crazy again. This time, they’re stuffing two 480s into a single PCB board. Deemed a hot and power hungry monster that the GTX480 already is, the ‘Mars II’ will need 3 8-pin auxiliary power connectors to actually power the two chips up! I can only imagine the heat that it will generate, and the cooling system needed to chill them to roam temperature at least.
